If you’re looking for concrete tools to help you reconnect with yourself and live your most authentically joyful life, you’re in the right place.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based psychotherapy that helps people build emotional resilience. DBT has saved the lives of many of my clients, and it’s been life-changing for me. DBT’s skills have helped me cope with the toughest parts of life, including recovering from a heart attack.

I’m doing my best to share DBT’s wisdom with as many people as possible. I’m glad you’re here!

A book with blue and orange cover, titled "Self-Directed DBT Skills: 3-Month Workbook" co-authored by Kiki Fehling, PhD and Elliot Weiner, PhD.

Self-Directed DBT Skills:

A 3-Month DBT Workbook

“Self-Directed DBT Skills is the first authoritative, practical DBT skills book for clients, covering all the skills and guided practice activities. Until now, all of the client-facing DBT books I’ve found either did not have enough practical content (because they were broad overviews), or their content was underwhelming, sometimes missing many skills topics. This book is well written, so anyone can easily understand the skills, and the content is sophisticated, closely matching what Marsha Linehan taught me when I was her student. Self-Directed DBT Skills is an invaluable resource for people who want to get more out of their DBT-informed therapy.”

—Milton Brown, PhD, clinic director and founder, DBT Center of San Diego

I’d love to hear from you!
